last weekend i decided to take a trip home, and it was rather wonderful. i miss a lot of things about being at home, one of those things being the opportunity to craft/bake-rather than do homework. i have no kitchen or sewing machine at school... talk about torture!!my sister nicole-being the creative gal that she is-was making adorable felt pins when i got home... so i joined her. she made me the most amazing apple and apple tree a girl could ever ask for. i made a carrot-because, well, who doesn't like carrots?
i also made some chai spice cookies. these cookies are sweeet.. literally. they got all messy and crumbly on the trip from home back to school-but i think my roommates appreciate them no matter what they look like!
